NERCHA Corporate Strategy
The corporate strategy sets out NERCHA's plans for its repositioning, transformation and for making an improved contribution to the HIV response. The purpose of the strategy is to redefine NERCHA's role in response to a changing HIV and AIDS environment, to provide a context for decision-making regarding NERCHA's resource requirements, allocation and investments, to provide a high level framework for accountability and communicate NERCHA's ambitions, role and priorities.
The NERCHA five-year Corporate Strategy not only guides leadership for the national multisectoral response to HIV/AIDS, but promotes a shift from an emergency mode of operations and activities towards a more strategic, managed and focused approach by reinforcing on NERCHA's core mendate and functions.
However, on the way to an AIDS-free Kingdom of Eswatini we must maintain vigilance of AIDS' devastating effects, which will live with us for the forseeable future by recognising that the Achilles heel of the response resides in its management and coordination. Without concerted and focused efforts the goal for Zero new infections, Zero HIV discrimination and Zero AIDS deaths will not be achieved
